AIAP's June Hike to Los Penasquitos Canyon <br>AIAP's June Hike to Los Penasquitos Canyon Los Penasquitos Canyon Preserve. We'll walk from Black Mountain & Mercy entrance to Sorrento Valley and back. Bring plenty of water, sun block, and a hat.<br><br>Where: Los Penasquitos Canyon Preserve Black Mountain Rd. @ Mercy Rd. <br>Direction: I-15 North to Mercy Road Exit, Go West to Black Mountain Road. Turn right onto Black Mountain and then immediately left onto Los Penasquitos Park. Drive straight, pass the baseball field and meet the group in the last parking lot. From I-5, exit Carmel Valley; take the new highway 56 going east to the end. The road turns into Black Mountain Road. Continue and enter the park before Mercy Road. <br><br>AIAP HIKING CLUB
