During the many trips there, he realizes a lot more than just his own family background. <b>He encounters the Ghaderi Sufies who had always amazed him as a child. He discovers a common thirst within all humans, one that lies BEYOND WORDS</b><br><br><b>About the Filmmaker:</b><br>The Iranian born filmmaker, <b>Jahanshah Ardalan </b>left Iran in his early teens in the mid-seventies to study. He first went to England and then came to the US. He studied filmmaking at San Francisco Art Institute. Upon graduating he moved to Los Angeles and started working as an editor/director. He has worked on a number of music videos, commercials, and documentaries. He shot Beyond Words from 1991 to 1999. The postproduction started in 2002 and the film was finished in 2003. He wrote, shot, edited, directed, and produced the film himself.
