Description
Group workshops<br><br>The purpose of the workshops is <br>1) to strengthen correct basic technique on setar and tar and <br>2) to gain an understanding the dastgah system of Persian music. <br><br>Dates Every other Sunday (alternates with private lessons)<br>Cost: $0-$25 donation per session<br><br>Private lessons<br>Twice a month Kourosh Taghavi, one of Ostad Lotfi’s best students in California, comes down from Berkley for private lessons on the setar.<br>Dates Every other Sunday (alternates with group workshop)<br>Time 12 noon – 6 pm scheduled 1 hour lessons<br>Cost: $40 per session
