Associate Professor of Law, Karima Bennoune, from Rutgers School of Law-Newark, teaches international law and human rights, served as legal adviser for Amnesty International working on women's human rights, worked on the Optional Protocol to CEDAW (Convention on the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women) and is a rising star in academic circles. She will speak about "secularism and Human Rights: A Contextual Analysis of Headscarves, Religious Expression and Women's Equality under International Law".
