Persian Cultural Center and UCSD Persian Club proudly present:<br><br> "Iran: A Cinematographic Revolution" followed by discussion with Nader Takmil Homayoun , Director, Visiting from France<br><br> Documentarian Nader Takmil Homayoun delivers a plenary eulogy to Persian cinema with "Iran: Une Révolution cinématographique". Over the course of 98 minutes, Homayoun follows the evolution and shifting stylistic currents of Iranian film over the course of 70+ years, as those changes parallel the country''s socio-political history. This documentary explores Iranian cinema through a compelling blend of archival footage, excerpts from representative and landmark Iranian films, and interviews with Iranian filmmakers, film critics and film historians.
