It's almost time to celebrate Mehregan! In the spirit of this Festival of Harvest and Friendship we invite you to an evening of Persian food, history, music, poetry, art, and dance (yes, all of it!), where each and every one of you will be the stars of the evening. The Persian Cultural Center has accepted an invitation from the Unitarian Universalist Church of San Diego to bring our community to their stage and give them a more balanced perspective of Iran and Iranians than they see in mainstream media. They want to know who we are and what Iran is all about. So please join us on October 2, 2009, at 6.30 p.m. at the church in Hillcrest. Tickets are only $20 per person (including a fully catered Persian meal) and half price for children under 12.

It is part of PCC's mission to build bridges across cultural lines through education and the arts. You will have a unique opportunity to personally participate by mingling with the non Iranian-American community and submitting perspectives or questions from the floor during our Q&A session at the end of the program. It's time to shine, be proud of being Iranian, and show off our culture and heritage!<br><br>
