Hiking

AIAP invites you to Hike at Lake Morena area . Lake Morena is about a 45 minutes drive east of San Diego. It is surrounded by mountains and actually supplies fresh water to areas of south San Diego, Chula Vista and Otay. We will meet @ Lake Murray in La Mesa to CARPOOL.<br><br>FROM Mission Valley:<br> * Take I-8 East, exit Lake Murray Blvd.<br>* Turn LEFT @ 2nd light on Kiowa Dr.<br>* We will gather at the main parking lot.<br><br>This is a 10 mile round trip hike; so, make sure to bring plenty of water and some food to keep you hiking.<br>* DEPARTURE TIME: 8 AM<br>* RETURN TIME: ~3 PM (to departure point, Lake Murray)
