L.A. debut! Saffron is a collaborative of talents from the four corners of the world joined together by the poetry of the great mystic Rumi. Master sitar player Shujaat Husain Khan, longtime Rolling Stones saxophonist Tim Ries, renowned jazz pianist Kevin Hays, and much sought-after percussionists Satoshi Takeishi and Abhiman Kaushal layer classical Indian music, jazz, and cross-cultural elements over the lyrical recitation of Rumi poems by acclaimed Persian wordsmith Katayoun Goudarzi.
