Description
Introduction to Persian Classical Music by Kourosh Taghavi
<br><br>
During this five session interactive workshop you will get an insight into the history of Persian Classical music and you will learn the Radiff and how to differentiate between Dastgâhs by playing and singing in different modes together (Tasnifkhani). Each session will end with a short performance by Kourosh Taghavi in the taught mode.
<br><br>
This is an outlet of expression for anyone who enjoys Persian Classical Music with or without musical background to help us enjoy the music while the meditative environment touches our souls.
<br><br>
Classes are 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm every Sunday Starting October 10 and ending November 7, 2010. Tuition is $100.00 for the entire workshop.
