ISSD Registration

Dear Parents & Students:<br />

Registration for Branch (I) is on Sunday September 8th and for Branch (II) on Thursday September 5th. The classes for each branch start exactly one week later. <br />
Our Persian language program consists of three levels, Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. Each level takes two years to complete. We are also offering adult classes for Persian learners as well as Kindergarten and Preschool classes. The minimum age to attend school is 4.5 years.<br />

Beside the language classes, we offer extracurricular activities such as Folk Dancing, Theater and Music. The classes on Sunday start at 9:30 consist of three sessions of reading, writing and one hour of applied Persian which includes culture and communication. The classes for Branch II remain the same, from 6 to 8PM.<br />
Please note the following changes for the upcoming year:<br />
Due to popular demand, the \"music appreciation workshop\" will be presented throughout the year.<br />
We will continue to offer Persian Music classes along with Dance and Theater. We do however need a minimum of 5 registered students for each class. These classes are for the Sunday sessions only.<br />
Beginner 1 & 2 classes will have a new colored text books.<br />
There will be a $50.00late registration fee after 9/15 (Branch I) and 9/12 (Branch II)<br />

Please Note:<br />
Our Persian Language Program is accredited by San Diego Unified School District and the San Deguito School District. High school students can take Persian to fulfill their second language requirements. Persian would be transferable and honored by the University of California and the California State systems.
