Liän Ensemble in Concert

This concert celebrates the mystic voice of love and longing for union with the divine through music. The event is a collaboration of diverse musicians offering new works across cultural boundaries with the deep seated belief in creative world music as a bridge to increased understanding amongst us as human beings.<BR><br>Leading Persian musicians of the Liän Ensemble join forces with virtuoso performing artists from Venezuela and the United States highly trained in a array of musical traditions and instruments from India, Eastern Europe, western classical, folk and jazz traditions. <BR><br>In a statement of unity between cultures these artists pursue the belief that collaboration of this kind is vital to the growth of music and the mutual enrichment of people of all backgrounds, faiths and beliefs.
