Description
Dastan, one of Iran’s most celebrated ensembles, is joined by Mahdieh Mohammadkhani, a young singer who has gained much attention in recent years for her entrancing interpretations of contemporary and traditional Persian music. Founded in 1990, Dastan has produced many award-winning recordings and performed with such luminaries as Shahram Nazeri, Sima Bina, Parisa and Salar Aghili, as well as with the Liege Philharmonic Orchestra and the BBC Symphony Orchestra.<br />
