Volleyball Tournament

ISC is pleased to inform you that our Second Annual Summer Volleyball Tournament will be held on Sunday August 11 at <b>Mission Bay</b> in San Diego. We have dedicated this tournament in loving memory of Morteza Hirad and Mohammad Hadi Entezam, two wonderful 28-year old men who perished in a car accident on June 25. Morteza was an incredible soccer player with amazing skills and grace. He was one of the best nationally recognized college soccer players during his collegiate career at Point Loma Nazarene. He played professional soccer with the San Diego Flash and was a member of the Iranian Sports Club (ISC). Mohammad loved sports and participated in athletics despite being limited by a physical disability. The tournament will be coed with a seven-player maximum for each team. Each team will be required to have a minimum of one woman playing on the court at all times. The games will be enjoyed on grass where spectators can watch and interact in a family atmosphere. This event caters to the young and old, women and men, athletic and non-competetive alike. Last year we witnessed over 200 people. If you are interested in registering a team, please contact us as soon as possible so we can provide you with further details.
