Job Seminar

As we all know, unemployment rate is going up these days and the slow job market is impacting lots of people including the Iranian professionals in Southern California. This is a critical time and the Association of Iranian American professionals is planning to provide a free carrier opportunities training seminar for anyone who is interested to attend. This seminar will benefit the experienced professionals in search of a new job, as well as senior level and new graduates who are seeking entry-level positions. <BR><BR>This is a 3 hours seminar and the following topics will be discussed: <BR><BR>1- How to write a powerful resume<BR>2- Job search techniques<BR>3- How to conduct a successful job interview<BR>4- How to negotiate for a better offer<BR><BR>Javad Rostami who has several years of experience in management and recruitment for ADC Telecommunications and Copper Mountain Networks will be hosting this seminar. He has been directly involved with hiring at job fairs across California to support the company wide recruiting programs and to screen the new candidates for employment and is a new member of AIAP’s 2003 board.<BR><BR>The seminar is designed for all professions. Tentative date for the seminar is Saturday February 1st at 3 PM in Ericsson auditorium. A confirmed email will be sending out, as we get closer to the date.<BR><BR>We are trying to get an estimate of the number of attendees to prepare the required logistics.
